Question :: I've added a 'porn for women' category to my TGP but there are not enough gallery submissions to keep it fresh. How do I get more galleries for this section? If I want to try to make my own, what are the main points I should consider?

Answer ::

The content in adult sites for women is generally more varied than adult sites for men. Almost all adult sites for men contain galleries, movies & live shows making it easy to build 1000's of galleries in multiple categories without ever running out of content.

Straight guy & sexy couples photos that appeal to women are harder to come by, therefore you need to be more creative in your presentation.

For this reason, the rules of most TGP's & Link Lists prevent good quality 'for women' sites from being listed because they don't have 30+ pics. However if you look through the site it might contain 10 photos, a story, sex confessions, sex toy reviews, any number of other content 'features' that are just as effective as galleries.

Some suggestions for encouraging more submissions to your TGP ...

  •  Provide broader guidelines for 'for women' category
  •  Hand review submissions to judge quality individually
  •  Replace 'for women' category with 2 categories - 'male hunks' & 'fantasy sex'. It will allow more galleries to be relevant.
  •  DO NOT list 'gay' galleries with 'for women' galleries, it turns off genuine submissions.

Building TGP Galleries for Women

Sorting content creatively is very important to stretch a little a long way while creating the impression of a wide variety. For example, it would be difficult to get 30 photos of a single cowboy, easier to get 30 photos of a variety of cowboys (anyone wearing a cowboy hat or standing in a farm!), but you might have to search through a few cd's before finding the required number of photos.

There are several companies that sell male content sets, its not that hard to find content, there are just very few webmasters dedicated to putting in the time to hand select pics.

The following categories are always favorites with our Purve members, and we have had no trouble building galleries with at least a few hundred pics each - you should have no trouble finding 30! Try Ounique & Fresh Photos for a cost effective start.

Question :: What should I call this category? ... I would like to add a women's section to my link list as i see there are a lot of sites worthy of listing out there, but I am not sure what it should be named to get women to click on it.

Answer ::

The market has been labelled as "For Women", and has since been shortened to "4Women", which I personally hate. It sounds like its a category with sites of "4 lesbian women in an orgy" listed in it.

Depending on how short you want the title, here's a few suggestions of categories you can add simply to your link list.

  • For Women
  • Women's Sites
  • Sites For Women
  • For the Ladies
  • Sex Sites For Women
  • Ladies Section
  • Women's Corner

There's a few other link lists doing this successfully, We Love Free Porn is a good example of an "All Audience" Link List.

Question :: All the women i've talked to say they would never sign up to a porn site, so why do you insist women will pay for porn like men do?

Internet=Anonymity ::

Let me return a question, do you sit around with your male friends and admit that you jack off to midget lesbian bondage video's? Porn surfing is private time, for men and women, those who would purchase a porn subscription for sexual enjoyment are rarely going to admit to it.

For the purpose of getting the women's market recognised, we have thrown all women into the same category ... "Female". We've forgotten to enforce along the way that we are aiming for the women who DO pay for porn, this is almost every woman - depending on what she is offered for sale.

On a certain day of the month, a single woman has hundreds of mood swings and hormonal changes - horny one day, Mrs Bobbit the next ... We know that one day, a specific woman may want to sign up to one of our adult sites, or she may want to purchase a sex toy on another.

We've drilled niches into sites for men, hundreds of obscure niches with a very small group of people interested in them. Eg: Vampire Sex, Pissing Midgets, Girls by age/hair color/costume's ... Do you think there are more women who will pay for porn than there are people who will pay for the above examples? The answer is YES.

Women make up 50% of internet surfers. If 1% of them are looking for porn for women, you have a market bigger than most niches. Try the tip below, see for yourself :-)

Question :: I'm not really sure if I want to put the effort into promoting women's sites, it all seems so hard. How can I see if its worth my time bothering?

Using the traffic you have ::

PurveBucks uses the marketing slogan "The ARE women in your traffic." The idea here is that if you already have existing traffic, you MOST LIKELY have women in it. The question is, are they happy surfing your site our would they be more likely to buy at a specific women targetted service?

To find out, you can try a simple test ... on your link lists, free sites, tgp's, paysite exits etc, add a link which says "ladies, enter here" or "Adult Entertainment for Women - Enter here".

Surfers most likely click where they are told to, especially if you see an advertisement which is specifically aimed at you, in a sea of material that isn't aimed at you.

If you find the above brings you good results, you can build a simple feeder page to experiment a little further. Add a few different paysite sponsors offering women's sites(MaxCash, PurveBucks, ARS, ConversionCash), a sex toy store (Safe Sex Mall, Naughty Glass), a herbal store with women's products (HerbalO), free sponsor content such as greeting cards (PurveBucks) and photos (Porn Mega Bucks).

You really don't need to do any more than that!! Watch your stats, if you make more money, send more traffic to the page, if you make less, STOP!

Stop overthinking the issue, any volume of traffic has all kinds of niches. Market this the same way you approach every other niche you do not PERSONALLY relate to. Marketing is about finding an element and targeting it, not analysing the complexity of the gender.

Its easy, add that first link, LADIES, ENTER HERE ...

Question :: Hi, I'm hoping you can help me. I've started searching for content to build a site for women and I can't find any places that sell straight male content. Where do all the sites I see already on the internet for women get their content from?

Finding Content ::

Rather than searching for 'straight male content', broaden your search to all content providers offering pics of 'men'. Most content companies who provide male pictures market their models to the gay market as there is more demand.

Its important to remember that you are presenting a fantasy to your viewer. Its more important to be creative with your presentation than to be specific with content selection.

Visit a site such as Ounique and look at their 'men' cd's - many of these sets are made up of common female and gay male fantasies such as men in uniform, buff men or men masturbating. All of this content can be presented to a female audience by introducing the fantasy to your viewer.

Select images that don't contain gay cliche's or 'poohole' pics, and create your gallery with appropriate text for a female audience.

EXAMPLE :: "Ladies, meet Jacob - a lifeguard from southern california, Jacob spends his weekends working out and teaching his dog to surf. Jacob's biggest sexual turn on is confident women."

Marketing to women is 50% presentation and 50% content - spend equal time planning both to ensure your site meets its audience.

You should also consider other content options such as greeting cards, erotic stories and article content to ensure you offer enough variety to appeal to a female audience.
